Stovetop Roasted Garlic Croutons (Copper Pan Method)

Stovetop Roasted GarlicCroutons (Copper Pan Method) Featuring: Roasted Garlic Salt

Ingredients:

4 cups cubed bread (sourdough, French, or ciabatta)

2-3 tosp olive oil or melted butter

1-1½ tsp Sloan Roasted Garlic Salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

Heat a copper pan over medium heat.

Add the bread cubes directly to the pan.

Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.

Toss continually for 1-2 minutes to lightly coat the bread.

Sprinkle generously with Roasted Garlic Salt.

Continue tossing and toasting for 6-10 minutes, until each cube is golden and crisp.

Remove from heat and let cool - they'll firm up as they rest.

Taste and add a pinch more Roasted Garlic Salt if you want a bigger flavor pop.

Tips:

Copper pans toast evenly, so watch for color-these can crisp up fast.

For ultra-crunchy croutons, keep the heat just under medium and go slow.
